Nottingham Business School (NBS) students take part in Coding Boot Camp

NBS students dive into the world of web development in a two-day coding boot camp taught by expert instructors. Coding is a fundamental tool in our digital world as almost every digital device requires code to operate. Therefore, we provided our students with the opportunity to learn and develop their coding skills to enhance their career prospects.

Code at Uni work exclusively with universities, with the instructors handpicked from companies such as Apple, Monzo and Trouva. Instructors provided the students with real life examples and solutions to technical problems.

Students learnt how to build websites using HTML and CSS and graduated from the course with a fully customised website of their own. The boot camp involved creating and editing blogs, online CVs and start-up landing pages.

“I learnt the basics of front-end software engineering through HTML and CSS to be competent enough to code my own website. The experience felt like it covered months of coding knowledge and experience into two days whilst providing a very supportive and encouraging atmosphere.”
